Bhinnashtakavarga builds a separate point table for each planet. The seven planets and the Ascendant each contribute either zero or one benefic point to every sign, giving that sign a total from zero to eight in the selected planet's table. For Jupiter or Saturn, judgment uses the score of the sidereal sign currently occupied in that planet's own table: a higher score indicates more support, while a lower score indicates more resistance, with the planet's natural topics defining where the result appears. The four variants compare Jupiter versus Saturn and high versus low scores. Unlike Sarvashtakavarga, Bhinnashtakavarga does not begin with a combined total across all planetary tables.
