Chatbots make up astrology. Why is Nura different?
Because the AI never does the math. A deterministic astronomy engine computes your chart and extracts named signals from it. The AI only turns those computed facts into readable sentences. If a date or degree appears in Nura, it came out of the engine, not out of a language model's imagination.
The traditions sometimes disagree. Which one should I trust?
They answer different questions with different tools, so disagreement is normal, and hiding it would be dishonest. Nura shows each tradition's reading side by side and scores signal strength, so you can see where systems agree (a strong pattern) and where they diverge (hold it loosely).
What does "verified against famous charts" mean?
We ran 4,500+ public figures with documented birth times (Astro-Databank, AA/A ratings) through the same engine that reads your chart. When a signal page lists a person, the engine actually found that exact pattern in their chart. No case is editorial or invented.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can Nura still read my chart?
Yes, with honest limits. Planet-in-sign positions, most aspects, and the BaZi year, month, and day pillars don't need a precise time. What degrades: your Ascendant and houses, the hour pillar, and Human Design gates can shift. Nura computes what your data supports instead of guessing the rest.
Where does my birth data go?
It's stored in Nura's own database and used to compute your charts and signals, nothing else. It is not sold and not used to train AI models. You can delete your account and its data from Settings at any time.
What's free?
The daily signal radar, your full multi-tradition chart, the signal library, and the celebrity charts are free. Deep reports (Destiny, Compatibility, Monthly, Astrocartography) and some divinations cost gems.
How much do reports cost?
Reports are paid with gems, Nura's single currency: Destiny 80, Compatibility 80, Astrocartography 80, Monthly 30. Gems come in packs of 30, 80, and 200; 80 gems is $6.99 in the app. Buying on the web is about 25% cheaper than in-app, since app stores take a cut.
Can I read a full report before paying for one?
Yes. Four complete reports are published on the site: three Destiny Readings and one Compatibility Report, generated for historical figures whose birth times are documented. They ran through the same paid pipeline your own report would use, and nothing was trimmed for display. The birth data each one was computed from is printed alongside it, so you can check the chart yourself.
Can I ask questions about my report?
Yes. Every report opens into a conversation: keep asking, and answers stay grounded in the signals already computed from your chart. Reports are saved to your account, so you can come back and continue any time.
How is the daily temperature calculated?
Each day, the signals firing on your chart across every tradition are weighted and summed: favorable signals warm the day, cautionary ones cool it. The temperature is a quick gauge of how the day leans overall, not a precise prediction — open the day to see the exact signals behind it.
How is signal rarity calculated?
From the structure of each system, not from vibes. Many patterns have exact base rates you can count (only 4 of the 60 day pillars are Kui Gang, about 7%; each Zi Wei transformation lands in 1 of 12 palaces), and combined patterns multiply those rates. Each rarity figure carries its derivation.
Where do the daily best and worst windows come from?
From the traditions' own hour doctrines, computed against sunrise and sunset where you are. Rahu Kaal is one eighth of the daylight, and which eighth depends on the weekday. Abhijit is the roughly 48 minutes around local noon. A void-of-course Moon runs from the Moon's last major aspect until it enters the next sign. Each window comes out with its name, its source, and start and end times to the minute.
