Receive Day
Outstanding value is easier to gather back into your hands. Follow up on payments, promises, and unfinished obligations, then reconcile the replies against a single collection list.
In detail
A Receive Day is established when the relationship between the day's earthly branch and the month's earthly branch assigns the Receive officer to that date. The month branch supplies the seasonal setting and the day branch marks the specific occasion; their Jianchu position gives priority to recovery, consolidation, and bringing dispersed matters inward. Unlike a Success Day, it does not primarily describe completion, and unlike a Close Day, it emphasizes collection rather than sealing or stopping circulation.
FAQ
- What is best scheduled on a Receive Day?
- Collection work fits best, including payment follow-ups, promised responses, and unresolved obligations. The Receive officer concerns value that already exists but remains outside your control, so it does not promise fresh income; prepare one receivables list and reconcile every response against it.
- What is the difference between a Receive Day and a Success Day?
- A Receive Day favors gathering something back, while a Success Day favors bringing a process to completion. A project may be finished but unpaid, or partly funded but unfinished, so use the current bottleneck: choose Receive for money or replies and Success for approval or final delivery.
